Whau Cluster Cross Country

Mataamua students competed in the Whau Cluster Cross Country yesterday. There were 11 schools participating with more than 60 students running in each race. Every New Windsor student did their best, finishing in the top 15. Diana came 1st in the 10-year-old girls’ race, about a minute ahead of the 2nd place-getter. Layla, from the Waenga team, won her 8-year-old girls’ race. Enjoy the photos below.

  6. hi,
I liked the part when you fished you could get a metal.
This reminded me of when I go to cross country last year.
Do you feel tired or did you have fun?

  7. Hello Mr Henderson, I liked the way you put pictures of students doing the cross country ( you didn’t put me ): ). In your next blog you could write some more words unless u really don’t need anymore words ( like me ). This reminds me of when I was in the cross country running for the school.
